Design considerations
Simple, modern and efficient are Efficy’s core words.
Efficy consists of a central desktop. The desktop provides a single-window interface for most common consult operations. With a single click, new windows can be opened for multiple views. Efficy combines the freedom of a single-window desktop, with the force of multi-window views. A window with relevant information can be viewed and kept on your desktop.
The Efficy navigator is to be found left at the screen. The navigator is always visible and offers access to the different modules available in Efficy. Every module has an appropriate icon; this means employees can work in the most functional way. The module used is indicated in color, no misunderstandings can occur.
A modern web interface is used. Efficy presents a consistent page structure; the desktop is divided in different information zones, toolbars, menus and lists. The information that matters is displayed at the top.
Customized views show you the information you want in the format you want. You can even produce, store and share your own views. Efficy comes with predefined views, and you can add as many personal or shared views as needed. People can work in the most efficient way according to the needs of their company.

Rich Formatted Context makes it able to format texts in all memos. It is possible to show or hide the layout taskbar in order to show more or less text. Rich Formatted Context allows emphasizing certain parts in the text. When templates are made, Rich Formatted Context can also be used, this is an ideal way to fill in visit reports and such.
Efficy is completely multi-lingual. Predefined field values are displayed in the user's language. If a certain language does not yet exist, it can be simply added by translating labels and levels.
E-mail handling is one of the strongest points in Efficy. E-mail is treated as an independent entity; everywhere in Efficy an instant e-mail button is integrated. E-mails are stored in their native format for ulterior usage and templates are used for efficient e-mail dispatching. When a template is chosen in the document window, and the e-mail program is started (for example Outlook), attachments are inserted automatically. Signatures can be generated automatically. Actions can be coupled while sending an e-mail and a sent e-mail can be immediately indicated as “done”.
A Reporting Server is integrated in Efficy. It comes with a series of default reports, and own reports can be created using Crystal Reports that you can check into the Reporting Server. Thanks to the Efficy Reporting Tool reports can not only be printed, but also stored in a Word, Excel or PDF-extension. In addition, reports in these formats can be sent by e-mail on regular basis. For example: the Sales manager can find reports in his mailbox two hours before each weekly sales meeting...
Document Templates can be created in Efficy. These templates can be used in documents and e-mails. The template window gives the possibility to classify the template in different categories, for example orders, visit reports, offers,... In the template screen the instant search button is also present – like everywhere in Efficy – and templates are found in just a couple of seconds.
Database Replication is used for the replication to offline systems like laptops, but can also be used for back-up purposes on any other server, on any other location. A streamlined database replication can be made on a per table level. Selection criteria can be defined per table and Efficy ensures an optimized data transfer. This way bandwidth is decreased and no time gets lost. It is possible to communicate online with the replication server, no matter where you are.
Website Integration makes Efficy communicate directly with your own website. When guests register (for an event, a newsletter,…) on the website, Efficy ensures a secure retrieval of data, without needing a database login.
