Efficy appointed its director general for France

The European CRM specialist Efficy announced the appointment of François Thomas as director general of its French department.

After having graduated in 1983 from the Université de Bordeaux in Mathematics and Physics, and then got a Master’s degree in computer science at SUPINFO University in Paris in 1986, François Thomas started his career as a sales rep for IBM. In 1993, he became a sales manager at Unilog Produits, before becoming director general of 3 CRM editors one after another, Ecsoft, Saratoga and DataDistilleries France.

In 2003, he became Sales Manager for NextApplication France, which became Efficy France in 2015. As of January 2018, François Thomas will be director general of Efficy France. His mission will be to supervise Efficy’s development strategy in France, to further its growth and to increase the sales.

“Efficy is one of the actors on the Customer Relationship market that is growing in Europe and in France, says François Thomas, director general of Efficy France. We have recorded a 60% organic growth (that is to say, excluding mergers and acquisitions) over the last year in the country, and we have also acquired Vente Partner. My goal is to continue the integration of our new partner, as we did recently with Vente Partner, and to broaden our customer base, which is today made up of 440 companies, with an eye on mid-cap companies especially. The contract signed with the INRA INRA in January is already part of that effort."

Developing Efficy in France

For 2018, Efficy France aims to attain 3,5 million euros turnover, and to integrate the top 3 of independent software editors in France. “The French market offers incredible development opportunities and we want to seize them with the launch of the 11th version of our CRM software, François Thomas says. Artificial intelligence and mobility features will be our trademark to keep winning projects: we are currently winning 33% of the calls for bids we participate in.”

Besides their business development, Efficy also wants to rely on a qualified team that will successfully complete all their projects. “In 2018, we wanted to recruit about ten new collaborators in order to complete our projects and get to a team of at least 25”, says François Thomas.
